Amy Middlebrook is Vice President of Directory Databases at CBM. Amy is responsible for publishing more than 50 data-driven products serving the international trade and transportation market each year, including directories, web sites and CD-ROMs. Amy spearheads the Group's product growth initiatives and manages the Publishing and Editorial teams.
Amy joined the Editorial staff of Commonwealth's predecessor company, Primedia, in 1995. She was promoted to Managing Editor in 1997, Editorial Director in 1999, and in 2003, to Group Publisher, Directories. During her tenure at Commonwealth, she has played a key role in integrating acquired products into the business and developing existing products. She has also been instrumental in developing internal workflows in an environment of evolving technology.
Prior to joining Commonwealth, Amy was a Senior Editor at Peterson's Guides, where she managed the company's flagship publication, Peterson's Annual Guides to Graduate Study. In her tenure at Peterson's, she was instrumental in transitioning the editorial group from paper-based to electronic editing and processing. Amy also worked for the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers, where she managed the production of several monthly journals. She has a B.S. in Journalism from West Virginia University.
