Liam Power joined Commonwealth Business Media in March 2007 as Vice President of Business Development. He works closely with President and Chief Executive Officer Alan Glass on developing the company's overall growth strategy. He also assists individual divisions with their strategic planning initiatives including new product development, organizational issues, geographic expansion and specific line-extension acquisitions.
Liam came to Commonwealth Business Media from PR Newswire (PRN), another United Business Media company. During his 13-year tenure there, he served on teams that grew company revenues five times. In his most recent position as Vice President, Operations, he oversaw all domestic editorial operations and was a key driver in creating a new operational structure and management team. Prior to that, Liam ran PRN's Washington, DC, bureau, achieving two years of double-digit sales growth.
Liam earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Management from University College Cork (Ireland) and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
