Paul Copping is co-founder and Managing Director of Aviation Industry Group, which comprises Aviation Industry Press, Aviation Industry Conferences and Aviation Industry Exhibitions. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
Paul launched his career at Rolls-Royce, moved on to British Airways and then joined Gulf Air in the Middle East, where he worked in engineering and contracts management in Bahrain, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi. Upon his return to the U.K., he became an aviation industry consultant, focusing on managing the portfolio interests of banks and leasing companies.
Paul has been nominated for several Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards and has the won the Regional Aircraft category once and the Aircraft Maintenance category twice. He holds a BSc degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Southampton University in the U.K.
