As HR Director, Penne is responsible for recruitment and staffing, employee relations, performance management, training, learning and development. Penne joined UBM Global Trade as an HR Manager in June 2007.
As an HR Generalist since 1994, Penne offers a diverse background in Human Resource Management. Her career highlights include, building HR departments for small to mid-sized organizations, overseeing recruitment and staffing for both the Corporate and agency sectors, implementing performance management systems. Penne also served as Director of Career Services for an adult learning center, and she was the Corporate Employee Relations Specialist for one of the largest global staffing firms. Penne's experience in employment services includes Consultant in career planning and coaching, and she served as a Consultant at DBM, one of the top global outplacement consulting services.
Penne holds a professional certification in Human Resources Management (PHR), is an active member of the SHRM chapter in Northern Rockland County, she is an adjunct teacher at Bergen Community College where she facilitates adult classes in Human Resources Management. Penne also volunteers her time at Ramapo College of New Jersey, assisting college seniors in resume development and career coaching.
