Peter Spinelli
Chief Financial Officer
Peter Spinelli joined Commonwealth Business Media in March 2006 as Director of Acquisitions and Special Projects. Appointed to the Operating Board in the beginning of 2008, he was named CBM's Interim Chief Financial Officer in September 2008 and became CFO of the reorganized UBM Global Trade group in January 2009.
Peter has more than 20 years experience as a financial executive. Prior to joining UBM Global Trade, he spent 16 years as a Director and Vice President with Siemens Building Technologies, holding financial positions at both the corporate and operating level.
In addition to his extensive acquisition experience, Peter has been a Corporate Controller and Director of Financial Planning, involved in reengineering, process improvement and business modeling projects.
Previously, Peter was Assistant Controller and Regional Financial Manager at Melnor Industries and Reliance Electric.
Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Mastery Certificate in Business Process Reengineering.
